How to Opt-In to SMS Messages

You can opt-in to receive SMS messages from BZ Technologies LLC in the following ways:

1. During Account Registration

When you register for an account on our web portal at https://portal.bztech.org/register, you may optionally provide your phone number. If you provide a phone number, you will see two optional checkboxes:

  • Marketing: "Yes, I want to receive marketing text messages (e.g., cart reminders) at the number provided."
  • Non-marketing: "Yes, I want to receive non-marketing updates and information, such as shipping information and account updates at the number provided."

A disclaimer states: Optional. By entering your phone number and clicking "Create Account" you consent to receive marketing and/or transactional messages according to your selections. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

SMS consent is always optional. You may register and use our services without providing a phone number or checking any SMS box.

2. Via Contact Forms

You may also provide consent when submitting contact forms on https://portal.bztech.org/contact or https://www.bztech.org/contact. When you enter a phone number, two optional checkboxes appear (marketing and non-marketing), plus the same disclaimer. SMS consent is never required to submit the form.

Types of Messages You May Receive

If you opt-in to receive SMS messages, you may receive the following types of messages:

  • Transaction-related messages: Flight status updates, reservation confirmations, invoice notifications
  • Account updates: Password resets, account verification codes, account status changes
  • Customer support: Responses to your inquiries, appointment reminders, service notifications
  • System alerts: Important account or service notifications

Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your account activity and preferences.

How to Opt-Out of SMS Messages

You can opt-out of receiving SMS messages from BZ Technologies LLC at any time using any of the following methods:

Method 1: Reply STOP

Reply STOP to any SMS message you receive from us. You will receive a confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS messages from BZ Technologies LLC.

Method 2: Contact Support

Email us at support@bztech.org or contact us through our contact form and request to opt-out of SMS messages. Please include your phone number in your request.

Method 3: Account Settings

If you have an account, you can update your communication preferences in your account settings on https://portal.bztech.org.

Note: After opting out, you may still receive transactional messages required for account security (e.g., verification codes) if you have an active account.

How to Opt Back In

If you have previously opted out and wish to start receiving SMS messages again, you can:

  • Reply START or YES to any message from us
  • Update your communication preferences in your account settings
  • Contact support at support@bztech.org

Message and data rates may apply. Standard message and data rates charged by your mobile carrier will apply to SMS messages you send and receive. BZ Technologies LLC does not charge you for sending or receiving SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may charge standard messaging rates.

Please check with your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan and any applicable charges.

Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Our SMS messaging practices comply with:

  • TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act)
  • CTIA (Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association) guidelines
  • CCPA and CPRA (California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act)

Mobile Data Protection: We do not sell or share mobile or personal data with third parties, affiliates, or partners for marketing or promotional purposes. We only share data with third parties when it is strictly necessary to deliver our service and only under binding agreements that ensure confidentiality. Under no circumstances will mobile data be shared or sold for advertising or promotional use.
